What we collect
LegDrop is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. The data we do collect is what's necessary for the app to function:
- Trip data (flight numbers, routes, dates, fare classes, prices) you enter or forward to the app. Stored locally on your device and on our server so the server can poll airline prices on your behalf.
- Apple Push Notification token, generated by your device, used to deliver alerts to you.
- Email address, only if you register one for booking-confirmation forwarding. Used to attribute forwarded emails to your device.
Forwarded emails
If you forward a booking confirmation to confirm@legdrop.eyelidsup.com or book@legdrop.eyelidsup.com, our parser extracts trip details (flight numbers, dates, locator) and discards the original message after parsing.
Donations
If you choose to support development via BuyMeACoffee, your payment is processed by BuyMeACoffee and Stripe. LegDrop never sees or stores your payment card information.
What we don't do
- No advertising or ad-network tracking.
- No selling or sharing your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- No analytics SDKs that track user behavior across apps.
Data retention
Trip data persists on our server until you remove the trip from the app or uninstall. Deleting a trip in the app removes it from local storage and from server-side polling.
